Mother's Day 2013
And then, i saw the leaves dropping
in a slow, motion
untangled
doing a free fall
touching, above the earth's surface
arid, but technically perfect.
serving, as basin of the green fiber
of the sturdy tree
in our lawn
And then you smiled
picked me up and whispered
"let's go inside for dinner my son"
and i nodded
and locked your gaze
as you coaxed me with your hands
in to your embrace
...Thoughts and memories
just like above came rushing into me
You served unconditionally
without reservation
You loved compassionately
without hesitation
When i was a child,
I saw your cries ...
i don't know the meaning then
but when i held your hand,
you hugged me tightly
I was a witness to your laughter
and you taught me to enjoy
the simple things in life
Mother, my dearest,
my beloved ...
to you i dedicate.
this simple piece
of love poem
not because it's mother's day
but because i love you so.
