Twin Lakes Tagaytay and Thoughts

I wus here with a friend last April 24 of 2019. Checked in, not for "fun times" but more of a celebratory night swimming, slash staycation.

Talks, long ramblings with a bottle of wine from the patio of our room, overlooking the opposites sides of the panelled towers, with a view of the vineyard.

It was all slow, easy-burn, and lowkey. Pampaantok.

I think, i have a comprehensive draft of this post, where more pictures and description of my assessment, or opinion to Twin Lakes Hotel is. (shall i post it soon?)

I luv most, their breakfast - the buffet and the open air placement of tables with a panoramic view outside. While the sun shone from our skins, me wearing sando back then, it wasn't cold AF that morning. It was temperature-friendly to the bones.

I luv second, is the night swimming. It was cold AF at first but when we dove, it's gone. As if the coldness of the night and the water's warm regard all fused into a harmony of niceties - all-in-one conveying a nice "talk"while threading the water; laps everynow and then, chats from the kids swimming with us. It was a complementing night of relaxation and easy peasy thoughts wandering.

It's Saturday - as i wrote this. COVID19 lock down is still in-placed. I wonder what's going on in Twin Lakes now.

Am i hearing the echoed emptiness of a deserted Twinlakes? Or probably, the lights and shadows speak for themselves along the hallways and nooks are just waiting, patiently waiting until the new normal sets-in.
