Loveletter of Robert Browning To Elizabeth Barret

best with your headphones or airpods on!

I love your verses with all my heart, dear Miss Barrett... this great living poetry of yours, not a flower of which but took root and grew - Oh, how different that is from lying to be dried and pressed flat, and prized highly, and put in a book with a proper account at top and bottom, and shut up and put away... I do, as I say, love these books with all my heart - and i love you too. Do you know i was once not very far from seeing - really seeing you? Mr Kenyon said to me one morning, "Would you like to see Miss Barrett?" Then he went to announce me - then he returned ... you were too unwell, and now it is years ago, and i feel as at some untoward passage in my travels, as if i had been close, so close, to some world's-wonder in chapel or crypt, only a screen to push and i might have entered, but there was some slight, so it now seems, slight and just sufficient bar to admission, and the half-opened door shut, and i went home my thousands of miles, and the sight was never to be.
Well, these poems were to be, and this true thankful joy and prode with which i feel myself,

Yours ever faithfully,
 Robert Browning

Fighting A Good Fight

Someone who is fighting the good fight is working tirelessly to try and make good choices and help others. This person wants to improve the world around him.

The phrase is not meant to be taken literally, however, as there is no actual fighting taking place. Rather, fighting the good fight is working hard to accomplish one’s goal of bettering humanity.

Are you in or are you out?

Hey hey hey, wazzup madlang people,

Sa Graduation Day,
Dito mo makikita Ang kakaibang saya,
Maiiyak ka sa lungkot at saya,
Habang tinatawag Ang name mo Ng iyong adviser para sa Pagakyat sa Stage
sa pagkuha Ng Diploma.
Saksi Ng iyong Ama't Ina.

Kaya Naman Saludo ako sa Batch naito,

Battles

when your feelings are numb,
and the heart is cold

when you feel like you're drowning,
in the oceans of mistakes;
the evil seems to never halt

like the perpetual darkness which you see deep below
i want you to struggle through the pain,
fight for your breath.

and when you're out in the open sand,
i'll call you a fighter
because you made it
through what seemed impossible.

and when you look back at it
tears might roll down,
but of the victory that you own.

Emotional Quotient

excerpt from the The Business News Daily

The ability to understand your emotions and others', is crucial regardless of what industry your business is in. By honing your emotional intelligence skills, you can gain an edge over others (and possibly boost your income and job satisfaction) by successfully working with difficult people and resolving complex problems.

"Understanding your emotions, controlling them, and understanding other peoples' might be the most important asset in working with others," said Eric Lupton, CEO of Life Saver Pool Fence.

Lupton defines emotional intelligence as the ability to be aware of, manage and control your emotions; it also encompasses the ability to empathize with others.
"[Emotional intelligence] is crucial for all types of relationships, from personal to professional," he said.

Similarly, Rode noted that emotional intelligence "represents the intersection of emotions and general mental ability."

"It can also be thought of as the extent to which one actively thinks about emotion or uses emotions as important information in a manner similar to other information, such as facts and opinions," Lupton added.

Getting Rich Is A Game

There are two types of riches... the material/non-material riches (fleeting) this world has to offer, and the eternal riches (incorruptible) one can conquer based on his faith or beliefs.

Anuman ang ninanais mong kamtin sa dalwa, the same set of rules apply. It's a never-ending level to strive in passing, learning, and failing until you breathe your last.

Nevertheless, enjoy the moment while you're at it. The competition is yourself - how you're good at it until you achieve the satisfaction that meets your criteria or when all is done and gone, will you be bestowed-upon the everlasting peace?

Your thoughts...?

A Relationship Isn't Always 50/50

The Love Clinic said it nicely. Sa isang relasyon, hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon, smooth sailing. There are fights, sometimes, the boat is sinking, and there are rough edges to smoothen out.

Ngunit ang napakaganda above it all ay kung ang pag-ibig ang nagbunsod para i-overcome ang mga dumarating at darating pang mga "tests", it will all be matter of a tandemized diskarte between two hearts that care for each other.

I know hindi siya natatapos, ganun naman talaga eh, level-up ng level up, in the end, if you both end up victorious because of the collective efforts and fighting a good fight displayed by both sides, mas lalong tatatag ang inyong pundasyon - a meaningful one.

5 Ways Not To Be Used

'yung feeling na you're just being used is worse, anu pa kaya kung totoong ginagamit ka lang?

There would be times when you're blindsided by the intentions of other people, pero as time flies, you'll realize that you were indeed being used - and that is not good!

This may apply not only in personal relationships but can be done as well in daily interactions to other people, your family, your friends, co-workers and close relations.

Whatever the circumstances are, the above tips could help you reflect and ACT ON.

Love yourself, be generous and kind but to what extent?

Nasa sa 'yo pa rin, kaibigan.

Yet Again

We are growing old
Yet again the night wind was so cold
It left me feeling blue
All the more because I needed you

To draw my destiny
With full mutiny
And distinctive veiny
Stars I cannot see

Focus On YOU

Spotlights, limelights, sidelights, whatever light you're getting now... the magnifying glass won't change unless you do something about the subject.

Speaking from experience, we've come a time when quarantine life is ebbing amongst us, slowly embracing its effects and life changing domination.

Nosebleed?

Welp, siguro, i'll just ask a simple question that may resound to you dear reader, hopefully when you lie to bed tonight, when you introspect how far you've come along in this journey of lockdown.

What have you done para ma-improve ang sarili mo?

Stress VS Passion

Someday, when all is gone and done... will you remember this blog? A digital footprint trying to reach of other's minds and culture.

Trying to "better" or influence in any way you can imagine...

Somehow, that's where passion comes, that's where inspiration is born, that's where the need to strive harder defeats boredom and stress.

When all is due and the timing is right. When the prophecy gets fulfilled, even when the author is no longer alive to see the result of his masterpiece.

Top 5 Reasons Why You Should Watch Umbrella Academy

Ugggh to the nth level.

Hands-down.

My personal fave show in #netflix is back!!!

31st of July baby!!!

ha ha ha ha!

In case you haven't seen Season 1, you have 20 days to go to finish or binge watch, just in time for the Season 2's premier on the 31st of July.

Top 5 Reasons Why you should lay your eyes on this show.

1. The plots and twist - welp, not to mention time travel with super amazing special effects, this show oozes with a plethora of reality-based stories relatable to at least 2-3 generations of the human kind.
You can never get tired of the family issue dramas, the siblings rivalry, the powerhouse "superpowers" these protagonist were endowed, the villainy actions of Hazel and Chacha that makes you adore them (first time in my life - adoring the plots and actions of a paired villain), the exciting capabilities of inducing moral to ethics and conflicts to harmony.

I don't know but..., way before it got adapted as a series - the comics plotline is absolutely impressive.

2. Soundtrack - welp (the 2nd), the music playlist is a mix of headbangin rock with a tinge of melancholic lovesongs, transcending from new generation pop and even back to classical hits from the 70's and 80's.

3. Five - the presence of Five and its role made its enticing all the more to bring the mind in to an action of whys and hows questioning. A tickle, or somewhat a trigger to explore additional excellent thoughts beyond you can imagine.

4. Lessons Imparting - it's obvious! There are lessons and hidden messages like eater eggs everytime you watch an episode from Season 1. These lessons may possibly be carved to your heart, kind of a beacon in dealing life in the present form.

5.The Umbrella - hahahaha! Hargreeve's talents that makes you think and answer the puzzle is what makes this show more and more enticing. If you're the intellectual type kinda watcher. You get to appreciate flow and what the show is leading you to.

As a bonus, this show is much better version of Heroes or Xmen ala kind of storyline. So if you've appreciated both movies/series, you're up for grabs then for The Umbrella Academy.

Till next time...

Respect Other People's Way Of Thinking

Kung bakit may sari-sarili tayong pag-iisip at may sari-sarili tayong diskarte....? Yan ang malaking pagkakaiba natin sa mga iba pang nilikha sa mundong ito.

What's really exciting is the endless possibilities of collective efforts when two or more people converge their ideas and execute these in to actions.

As an individual, we should all the more explore the possibilities of what others can do and not the limitation of our own solutions, including our own creativity.

Focus On Possibilities, Not Problems

Gaano 'to katotoo?

Welp, the famous quote was actually from Zig Ziglar - an american author, salesman and motivational speaker.

Doing a deep-dive into this famous quote, it follows the science of a magnifying glass. The more you magnify an aspect for scrutiny, the more it becomes obvious on a granular level.

It is therefore recommended that what you focus on must be on the positive aspects of things and life.

Care to  share your thoughts in the comments, please.

Sikretong Malufet!

We weigh our decisions all the time based on our experiences, in fact, most of the time even without thinking about it.

According to scientificamerican.com - there is a basis for this using the experiment conducted on ants. Oo, mga langgam...

Ayon naman sa businessnewsdaily.com - the more of an expert someone is, the more they should trust their gut when making decisions.

It all boils down to experience.

And how do you qualify for an experience to connote positivity and accurate results?

Simple lang, we gain experience because of the lessons we learned from our mistakes.

The heartaches and failures we encountered because of the the wrong moves, uncalculated approaches we took resulting to things that tell us behind our minds -- " I shall never repeat this same mistake again ".

Know What You Want, and Get It

Kung nabasa mo na ang "Who Moved My Cheese?", maaaring maka-relate ka dito.

There are top 3 lessons from that shortstory. Let's learn from it:

1. Learn to handle your fears.
There are two major effects of fear. It can paralyze you or it can drive you act and do something about a situation.
Yung nauna, is not helpful - it's the negative effect. Yung pangalawa, it's the catalyst for fight and flight.

2. Adapt - be open minded to new things.
Minsan, we are so comfortable sa ating kasalukuyang sitwasyon at 'di natin namamalayang stagnant na pala tayo. Growth has stopped. Let's not be complacent to it - instead, let's adapt and be open minded to new things around us.

3. Let go of the past
Not to dwell on the "love" aspect... pero parang ganun na nga. Kalimutan ang nakaraan ngunit huwag kakaligtaan ang mga payo at saway na nakuha mula rito.

Tamang Reaction At Saktong Pagpansin

Choices Made in Anger Can't Be Undone

According to anger management posted by mayoclinic there are top 5 ways to diffuse your anger.

Let's learn from it.

1. Think before you speak.
Totoo namang mahirap gawin ito pero nasa tamang pagsasanay lang yan. Kung talagang 'di mo mapigilan, walk away from the incident and defuse your madness or sama ng loob.

2. Get some exercise.
Isang bagay na nakakakalma ng sarili ay ang routinary exercise, at mas maigi kung samahan mo ng meditation.

3. Stick with "I" statements.
Para maiwasan ang pag-popoint-fingers, use "I" statements to describe the problem. Be respectful and specific. For example, say, I'm upset that you left the table without offering to help the dishes" instead of "You never do any housework ".

4. Use humor to release tension.
Daanin sa tawa or joke at humalakhak. Do not use sarcasm though, it could be offending.

5. Don't hold a grudge.
Maging mapag-patawad. Maging maunawain, pero tandaan ang lesson learned.

How To Be A Responsible Facebook User

Bula

Sa mundong tila ba'y isang bula
Sa isang iglap pwedeng mawala,
Ikaw, ako, siya, tayo
Alam mo ba hanggang saan patungo?
Sa panandaliang saya sa mundo,
Pipiliin mo pa bang matalo?
Kung hindi makuha ang panalo
Kakayanin mo bang makuntento?
Sa pagtahak sa pangarap ko susugal ako,
Sagot sa katanungan mula sa isip ko
Na kahit pa ako'y madurog
Na parang salamin na tila'y naging bubog
Lalaban at susugal pa rin ako,
Dahil sa bawat pagkakataong dumaraan
Hindi dapat ito pinakakawalan
Sa pagkat sa buhay na palaban
Imposibleng di makuha ang karangyaan
Bumangon tayo'y magpatuloy sa buhay,
Pintahan ito't lagyan ng kulay
Mula sa madilim na pagkahimlay
Magpatuloy tayo upang magtagumpay.
