Dazed, staring at the stars, I was.
As if I was homeless, no arms to embrace,
My familiar longing, I know has a cause
That I have searched far and wide, but couldn’t surface.
Vast as the pacific, deeper than Mariana’s trench,
Not even Magellan would explore.
All while sitting at this bench
These thoughts I can’t Ignore.
Tracing the constellations, I’m filled with wonder,
If curiosity is what kills the cat
Does death holds all the answer?
To be aware of it has two routes;
Either a curse or a blessing.
Knowing is having clout
Maybe ignorance isn’t a bad thing.
