iOS 14 Beta - Review from a Pinoyblogger

(para sa mga di nakapanood ng WWDC 2020 last June 22, or kung nawatch mo siya at you're wonderin how was it to experience Apple's iOS14, then you can read further on my personal take with Apple's soon to be released and bestest iOS thus far to date)

I have been using iOS14 developer's beta for almost week now on the iPhone 8Plus, must i say - it's quite stable and funky in a sense it's trendy or timely in these times of crises and the challenges amidst us (not only in the Philippines but to the whole wide world of cyberspace and tech).

Let's deep-dive in some of my fave upgrades/improvements:

1. iMessage

  • in-line replies (finally, this long-awaited feature was answered)

  • pinned messages (yuppers, the UI for the pinned messages is impressive, you can see a preview if yung "ka-text" mo is using iMessage too)

  • memojis with facemask (methinks this is a form of influencing, to remind your friends that seriously wearing facemasks at appropriate times can make a difference)

2. Floating Widgets
  • para siyang live tiles ni Microsoft (if ever you noticed Microsoft Windows)
  • these widgets are floated and cuztomizable as you add them app on your screens alongside your apps
  • it can be

3. App Library

  • yung last screen mo sa iOS13 stops on the last page as is, pero dito sa iOS14, there's the so called App Library.
  • apps are clubbed neatly, aesthetically, and organized in way that is pleasing or easy on the eyes
  • you can search the library if you aren't into flicking or scrolling to get what you want

Those were my top 3 faves, not to mention the "sound recognition" feature, the "sleep" tracking mechanism from Apple Watch - which i'm waiting for the weekly report similar to screen time.

I will keep this updated or must i post another article soon as i come across with other features.

Thanks for reading.
