Pilipinas kong mahal, kailan ka babangon sa 'yong kinasasadlakan?

Mangyari'y gumising ka na sa 'yong pagkahimbing, 

Pagkat ang pag-idlip mo'y kay raming nahumaling sa 'yong kariktan,

Na 'di mo namamalayan, ika'y binababoy na sa 'yong sariling tahanan.

Pagmulat ng 'yong mata'y - ika'y masisindak

Wari'y ang kagandahan mo'y, tuluyan nang winasak.
