Thankfulness

I rejoice in singing  praises unto You

For I am humbled by Your compassion

For I am lifted through Your mercy

Crying my pain into oblivion

You have given me the courage

Strengthened me from my cares

You wiped my tears of sorrow

Assuring me of Your presence

Words unspoken in truth

I wish to cry out for thankfulness

For Your everlasting clemency

For Your undivided love

Because of the unending guidance

And the light you kept on showing

My path has never wavered

My thoughts were always into You

My appreciation would never be enough

But allow me to extol You

Allow me to share how wonderful You are

That mere words couldn't depict

Through these lines,

May everyone know

That You are the living God

Who never faltered in keeping

the promises You have vowed
