Muted breeze of the ber months

October is almost gone

Leaves curled without discontent

Just waiting to disintegrate

To be part of the barren soil

To enrich... to nurture...

This thirsty earth

Full of putridness

Where once the magic

Was at its best

Nowhere to feel

Where the old has once tasted

Nor the chilling wind

Nor the mist in the early morn

For the body to surrender

In to clasping embrace

In begging to stay in bed

Until the sun rises from the east

Georgy Porgy - Eric Benet

And yet... another spinnaker to go down the memory lane. It's way beyond to contain the sprouting goosebumps as i listened to this video. I'm on cramps as i skimmed thru pages in getting the mp3, nowhere that i can see in iTunes though.

It's a soulful, rNb from Eric and Faith Evans. No idea why it was tagged as Georgy Porgy - a lame allusion of being a playboy? Hahaha.

I'm so f*ckn (pardon my French) DEJAVUed when i tried playing this song in my newly updated genius list in my iPhone. I was once a disc jock in a local radio station somewhere in the northern part of the Philippines and i used to play this song a lot.

I just love the discothequeness of this with the tinge of sentimental aura, it just spikes as the song progresses to it's climax...
